In 2008, shortly after their graduation at the university of gastronomy, Babsi and Jan opened "die burgermacher". The first restaurant in Vienna that specialized in burgers. Even though you now can find a burger on almost every menu, "die burgermacher" were always able to stand out with premium organic ingredients, home made sauces as well as tasty and creative recipes.
In the end of 2014 the two original "burgermacher", Babsi and Jan handed their baby over to their
long time employee Daniel. Together with his friends Alex, Franz and Valentin, he will continue to serve
long-time and new guests with burgers, created with passion and dedication.
